The spiral: why EFAFLEX doors last
A conventional high-speed door winds its leaf onto a shaft — every cycle grinds lath against lath. An EFAFLEX spiral door guides the leaf upwards in a spiral without contact. That one idea, introduced by EFAFLEX in 1992 and unrivalled since, is why these doors run faster, quieter and almost wear-free for hundreds of thousands of cycles a year. It is also why they insulate better: thermally separated EFA-THERM laths achieve U-values down to 0.66 W/m²K.
