Pipe shields for pneumatic conveyor lines that do not obstruct the conveyor flow. In contrast to conventional protection dampers, the Ecotube pipe shield is not permanently exposed to the flow of conveyed material. Instead, the casing pipe segment is pushed out to make room for the shield damper. The advantage: This avoids friction or soiling of the closure element caused by the flow of the conveyed material. The closing process is triggered by the fire detection elements. Ecotube is suitable for positive and negative pressure as well as for a variety of conveyed goods, e.g. cardboard or paper strips.
