GEA (General Electronic Access Ltd) is a certified member of the Automatic Door Suppliers Association — the industry body for powered pedestrian doors in Ireland and the UK, marking 40 years in 2025.
Membership isn’t a sticker: our engineers Kieran Masters and Martin Lavelle are recognised by ADSA as BS EN Standards Authorised card holders, having demonstrated knowledge and understanding of industry best practice for automatic pedestrian doors — the competence framework behind EN 16005 safety compliance.
When an automatic door is installed or serviced by GEA, the person doing it carries independent proof they know the standard.
BRE-certified fire door inspection (LPCB LPS 1197)
- Certified inspectors: our fire door team is certified by BRE Global under LPS 1197 — LPCB certificate no. 1839Pla.
- Twice-yearly compliance: Irish Building Regulations (2006, Part B / BS 8214) require fire door inspection at six-month intervals.
- Evidence that stands up: door-by-door reports with photographic evidence, accepted by fire officers and insurers.
- Closed loop: our own technicians complete the remedial repairs after inspection.
