General Electronic Access LTD was formed by Ray O Grady, originally focusing on gate automation. The first General Electronic Access LTD office was a small room, less the 10sq/m containing a telephone and a fax machine.
Identified the high speed door market in Ireland, Initially installing Speedor from Hart UK
GEA installs first EFAFLEX SST doors secure doors for BOI secure cash depots Cork and Limerick.
Installation of a large EFAFLEX project at the Vistakon Site in Limerick, the original 2 doors installed are still all in operation today.
GEA are choosen to by EFAFLEX to be sole partners for the island of Ireland
GEA installs there first cleanroom project in Pfizers Ringaskiddy, 10 doors.
Moved into the fire protection area working predominantly with Stoebich.
Attended Energy Show Dubln.
1300+ Doors installed on the Island of Ireland.
